Reinforced single mass flywheel kit complete with reinforced clutch JEEP RENEGADE 120hp 1600 JTD Turbo Diesel engine 55260384 CRD with reinforced pressure plate and ProtoXide brake disc complete with crown for the starter motor and already inserted on our flywheel, to make up for the weak original clutches that slip easily even just after a few kilometers or after a simple remapping of the control unit.
Our single-mass flywheel is made of solid and lightened steel with a clutch unit and was designed and created by removing the original wear recovery clutch system (not reinforcing) 624394909 with a type of reinforced pressure plate that guarantees the same softness on the pedal of the 'original, which houses a brake disc (not copper) with progressiveness, which helps a lot to have smooth starts WITH BUSH BATTERY WITH 4 SPRINGS and creating a dedicated GIB flywheel for this application.
The weight of the complete kit is lighter and much more reinforced than the undersized original clutch kit in our opinion also because it is an engine that even with good mapping the clutch slips and even more so if you decide to add a tow hook let alone .
Compared to the original BI_MASS flywheel kit, our single-mass flywheel is able to maintain a torque of up to 49KGM.
It is necessary to use the original thrust bearing which must be purchased separately as it is not included, and all the original fixing screws are even used.
Always pay attention to the purchase of the clutch unit that is suitable for your car, even if it is always possible to replace it with the correct type without further costs, and in any case for each order received, one of our technicians will contact you to check with you the correct model for your application with your car manual.
The problems of breakage of the dual mass flywheel and of the slipping of the original clutch are known for this JEEP RENEGADE 1600 120hp engine when the standard horsepower is increased, by reprogramming the control unit or even without remapping the control unit.
Protoxide assumes no responsibility for any vibrations that may be created in the normal operation of the engine based on the rpm and load, due to the removal of the original dual-mass flywheel, and they cannot be eliminated even if we use a dampened disc, but clearly not able to dampen all the vibrations created by the gearbox, even if according to many this is negligible and in any case it is the price to pay for the definitive removal of the dual mass which will no longer be necessary to replace for life.
Our reinforced flywheel and clutch kits, like all ProtoXide products, are indicated only for racing vehicles where the only prerogative is greater performance to the detriment of everything else, noise, comfort and durability (especially when an application involves the use of copper material).
