- STEEL single-mass flywheel kit with reinforced and lightened clutch complete with pressure plate and friction plate in lining complete with crown for the starter motor and already inserted on our flywheel. Can be installed on Fiat 500X 334, Jeep Compass and Jeep Renegade with usual engine and single clutch manual gearbox.
- In our kit we use a ferodo disc (not copper) with a battery composed of 4 shock absorber springs to compensate for the replacement of the dual-mass flywheel with a single-mass steel flywheel and (not cast iron like the original dual-mass even if there will be slight vibrations coming from the gearbox around 1700-1800 which cannot be removed, but absolutely do not affect anything as demonstrated by all those who have already purchased it for some time and continue to use it.
- The weight of the complete kit is 15.6 kg compared to 17.6 kg of the original assembly.
- It is necessary to use the original thrust bearing to be purchased separately as it is not included.
- Always pay attention to the purchase of the clutch unit suitable for your car, even if it is always possible to replace it with the correct type without additional costs, and in any case with each order received, it will be the responsibility of one of our technicians to contact you to check with you the correct model for your application.
- There are known problems of breakage of the original dual mass flywheel 415067410 4005108970497 and above all the slipping of the clutch unit even after very few kilometers of use or when the standard horsepower is increased or even just by reprogramming the ECU on this Fiat 500X with 1,600 MJET engine even without ECU remapping or adding a modified turbo, but just use the three mapping settings this stock car has.
- Protoxide assumes no responsibility for any vibrations that may arise during normal engine operation, due to the removal of the original dual-mass flywheel, as our products are only suitable for racing vehicles where the only prerogative is greater performance to the detriment of everything else, noise, comfort and durability (especially when an application involves the use of copper material).
