• The Protoxide reinforced springs, in addition to having a slightly higher free height, fewer coils and a different direction, guarantee a higher load of 2.1 kg measured with only 15mm of compression compared to the original spring. This allows you to maintain a greater cam lift without going backwards.
• Most of the spring compression makes it quite linear. Non-linearity occurs only in the region of maximum open height, for this reason it is always recommended to use springs with more load for larger camshaft profiles.
• Engine manufacturers are continually bringing the valve opening height closer to the total working height of the spring itself. From this it is easy to imagine that when the spring continues to work at high revs, it approaches high revs easily to lock, let alone with a cam with a higher lift.
• Our springs are used with original valves and with the original plate , but it is also possible to use them with our dedicated application with valves in special material with a groove and our steel plates.
• Our springs are interchangeable with the original springs when you want to have a higher increased lift camshaft. Therefore they are an obligatory choice with reprofiled cams or with cams with increased lift.
