- Single-mass flywheel and reinforced clutch kit for Alfa Romeo 159 1750 TBi with 939B1000 engine complete with starter motor crown.
- This kit is supplied exclusively by ProtoXide and is composed of a steel flywheel, a super reinforced pressure plate and a clutch with reverse-loaded shock absorber springs and a series of reinforced screws specific for this application which is capable of withstanding 50KGM of torque in the two types of versions or up to 59KGM of torque in the second version!
- Special reinforced clutch kit UNICO ProtoXide made exclusively by the ProtoXide technical department with copper braid disc in the compound that can also be seen with the naked eye and not with the annoying copper plates at the start. On request with an additional cost we can replace the special ferodo disc with a disc with copper plates.
- There are known problems with the dual mass flywheel breaking when increasing the standard horsepower (even just by reprogramming the control unit) or the clutch slipping even just after remapping the control unit or adding a modified turbocharger. Many of you contact us because they have already changed several reinforced clutches and continue to burn them, but for us there is nothing strange for this engine as for many others our kit is the only one on the market to maintain up to 59kgm of torque in the most powerful version even if in the 50kgm version in most cases it is already sufficient.
- Including reinforced high tensile bolts already included in the kit for fixing to the crankshaft, included in the package, specific for this application.
- This kit eliminates problems present in acceleration even at low revs, especially in higher gears, caused by the failure of the "original dual mass flywheel", thus eliminating slipping of the clutch or flywheel, thanks to a reinforced clutch pressure plate and a special ferodo disc.
- Also INCLUDED in the kit is the specific thrust bearing with integrated bushing modification and already installed for use with this reinforced clutch kit.
