Fuel pressure regulator for Ferrari 348 only very latest 1994 versions and similar with electronic injection and Ferrari Mondial.
The regulator replaces the original one which has now become unobtainable and is made with the same fittings and identical steps both on the delivery (smaller) and on the return without hose holder with a larger fitting for fuel return.
The original reference is Ferrari 147281 , while the Bosch spare part code is 0280160738. Check your regulator model carefully because another type of regulator can also be found for this vehicle, installed on the same vehicle. This regulator is also available in our catalog and can be found under accessories. It can be recognized by the fact that the other model has a hose connector - Barp.
The original regulator is no longer difficult to find on these Ferrari engines, and it is easy for this component to no longer function correctly and even with a punctured membrane, the fuel passes through the regulator itself and ends up inside the intake manifold with all the problems that this entails.
This regulator, in addition to the original, allows you to decide the desired pressure regulation through the movement of the screw covered by the upper nut, so you can precisely adjust the fuel pressure even in the presence of larger pumps or different needs (enrich the carburetion if you prefer) or because some regulators must be adjusted to 3 bar and others must be adjusted with fuel pressure at 3.8, in this way it is possible to choose the correct pressure thanks to the precision of this regulator.
The regulator is already complete with threaded connection on the inlet 14 and on the outlet of the larger return 16 just like the original regulator.
This engine has two identical fuel pressure regulators, one for each cylinder bank. In our opinion, when this problem occurs, it is advisable to evaluate whether it is necessary to replace the other one as well to prevent future problems.
