There are known problems with the dual mass flywheel breaking when increasing the standard horsepower (even just by reprogramming the ECU) or the clutch slipping after remapping the ECU or adding a modified turbocharger. Kit with a special single-mass steel flywheel made to accommodate a specific disk created for turbodiesels with double shock absorbers
This kit comes with: steel flywheel, super reinforced PERFORMANCES 69KGM clutch pressure plate designed as a unique exclusive ProtoXide solution that takes the place of the original non-reinforceable clutch pressure plate with wear recovery, and relative clutch disc
in special ProtoXide copper.
The starter motor crown is to be recovered from your flywheel.
High tensile bolts for fixing on crankshaft, included in the package, specific for this application
The weight of the whole assembly is approximately kg.
This kit allows you to eliminate problems present in acceleration even at low revs, especially in higher gears, caused by the failure of the "original dual mass flywheel" thus eliminating clutch or flywheel slippage, thanks to a reinforced clutch pressure plate and a unique and unobtainable ProtoXide ferodo disc.
It is necessary to use the original thrust bearing which can be purchased from the dealer as it is not included.
